Program Overview

Nitros Development Player of the Month

Program Overview

North Toronto Nitros Soccer's grassroots Development Pathway is for players from the age of under 8 (2014) to under 12 (2010) for both males and females.

The structure now sees the players split into two streams, the Nitros Development Pathway for U9 and U10 players and the Advanced Development Pathway for U11 and U12 players.

Our U11-12 program is overseen by Rachel Murray

Both of these passionate and experienced coaches joined club colleagues Billy Wilson (Technical Director), Nic Hurtado (Manager of Recreation), Octavian Ghidanac and Rachel Murray to be amongst the first 21 coaches in the nation awarded the new Canada Soccer Children's License in September 2020.

All players will train throughout the year under the direction of Tom and Andy and their assigned Long Term Player Development (LTPD) Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the age group.

The overall objective of NTSC’s Nitros Development program is to create a developmental environment for every player that matches his/her individual playing needs and abilities. To do this, NTSC will be following CSA’s Long Term Player Development (LTPD)

Nitros Development Players of the Month

We are providing a player of the month for our Nitro's players to encourage them to watch the sport they love to play. It gives them role models within soccer for them to look up to and identify with. We ask that parents share the PDF with their child as each month they will notice that every player does not have the same pathway from when they were a child to where they are now.
