Spring & Summer 2019 Recreational Soccer Leagues

North Toronto Nitros Soccer Recreational Program is committed to providing a rewarding, enjoyable soccer-playing experience for all participants regardless of ability or experience, in consistency with Canada Soccer Wellness to World Cup Long-Term Player Development Model. Every player should be provided with the opportunity to learn and love the game of soccer in a positive, fun and safe environment. We believe that love of the game begins with mastery of the ball and that these skills can best be attained through a combination of structured training programs and game play. The Program also gives coaches an opportunity to develop their own passion for soccer, and the Club an opportunity to stimulate, encourage and promote good coaching practice in a supportive and enthusiastic environment. Our primary objective is to help the children in our community to enjoy the game now, and love it for life.

There are two distinct outdoor leagues; players may participate in one or both. The leagues are recreational (not competitive).  All players are welcome, no soccer skill or experience necessary.

Spring Recreational League
Most players (except for Active Start) will play twice a week, once on a weeknight and once on the weekend.
The league will start May 4 (for players who play on Saturdays) or May 5 (for players who play on Sundays) and will conclude with a Festival and Cup Tournament to be held on the weekend of June 22 and 23, 2019.
Exception: U15-U18 age groups (players born in 2001 to 2006) will start April 27-28 and conclude on the weekend of June 22 and 23, 2018.

Summer Recreation League
All players will play once a week. The league will start July 6 and conclude with a Festival and Cup Tournament on Saturday September 21, 2019 (except for Active Start.- Weeknight option, which will conclude during the last week of August).
